Outstretched Hand

I wonder and wander

Questioning, calling

Out in the garden

Heart and stars falling

I plead and I ponder

Looking for clues

Working on faith

Will you look for me too?

Keeping it in

While searching about

The answer’s within

But also without

With the soul of a child

In the frame of a man

Just out of reach

From an outstretched hand

Take a deep breath

Let go of the coil

The truth is revealed

In the ethereal soil

A link in the chain

That’s not quite closed

Pleading for light

From my darkest soul

Keeping it in

While searching about

The answer’s within

But also without

With the soul of a child

In the frame of a man

Just out of reach

From an outstretched hand
