Vacuity – The Black Hour CD Is Out Now!!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you may have noticed that I have been a huge supporter of the band Vacuity. Their new album, The Black Hour, is out today.

You have a number of choices on getting yourself a copy. Of course, it will be available on iTunes. if that is your preference, have at it!

You are also able to buy the digital download directly from the band here for the incredibly good price of $8CDN.

If you would like to order the hand screened (by the band!) all black CD, you can get that here for the low, low price of $10. Where are you going to get a better deal than that for some great new music???

Please support these guys!!! They are doing some tremendous work. You can read a review of album here. You will not be disappointed.

Another great article here too.

Some tracks will grab you immediately while others do that great slow grow that needs multiple listens to really get into it. That to me is always the sign of something special.

So please buy the album and if possible, catch a show. Their local Southern Ontario mini-tour starts today in Hamilton at The Casbah (June 26th)! They are at The Hideout in Toronto on June 27th. June 28th at the London Music Club. They play Maxwell’s Music House in Waterloo on June 29th and 30th (I’ll be at the June 29th show if you are in the neighbourhood). And finally in Windsor July 7th at The Phog Lounge.

I will post full tour details when they become available. For links to tickets for any of these shows, go here.
